2347 GMT — Japanese stocks may rise after the Bank of Japan kept its easing policy on Friday and the yen has weakened. Nikkei futures open up 195 points at 29070 on the SGX. USD/JPY is at 136.41, up from 134.98 as of Friday’s Tokyo stock market close. Energy stocks may outperform following strong gains in crude oil prices on Friday.
